Demon Moon –

Once a young girl cast from her home by the demon Xian Mo, Li Mei could smell the pungent taint of the foul creature that awaited her. Having escaped its wrath once, the now-warrior stood in anticipation of her reunion with the diseased entity, her incantation of a floating crescent moon haughtily announcing her arrival. And from the temple that was her home, Xian Mo gazed down heavily at her manifestation in disgust of its beauty. It seemed the human rodent that had escaped its fate had returned with more power than she had the right to, having thieved a portion of the demon’s very essence in order to wield it. Xian Mo could only guess as to how the girl managed to steal a sliver of his magic. Since he had inhabited her father before she was even born, his strength must have passed through his poisoned seed. But how it remained hidden from him so to allow her to escape his sight was the real mystery. Regardless of what puny white witch may have protected the child upon Xian Mo’s ascension, the result was clear. Li Mei managed to survive the wild as a half-breed orphan and nourish his stolen essence to a point of power beyond what a human should posses… Her return home should prove to be an interesting intersection of fates. -cm
